ONE DAY OF THE IRAQ WAR = $720 MILLION

ONE DAY OF THE IRAQ WAR COSTS $720 MILLION. THAT'S $500,000 PER MINUTE. HOW WOULD YOU SPEND IT? IMAGINE WHAT ELSE THOSE DOLLARS COULD DO!

(The Iraq war cost figures are based on the work of Nobel Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz and his colleague Linda Bilmes. The per day cost of the Iraq War for the first 4 years (2003-2007) has been $720 million)

But the real bottom line is this:

War is not

Healthy

for children

and other

living things!

1. Mourn all victims of violence. 2. Reject war as a solution. 3. Defend civil liberties. 4. Oppose all discrimination: anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, etc. 5. Seek peace through justice in Hawai`i and around the world.
