Peace organizing meeting Monday, Oct. 27, 2008

Aloha Peace Ohana,
Reminder: There will be a Peace organizing meeting on Monday, Oct. 27th
from 7-9PM at the Keaau Community Center, behind the police station and
Family Clinic in Keaau. Among items on the agenda will be: the breakfast
meeting with PTA commander Col. Warline Richardson on Sat. 10/15 with
Kupuna Sam Kaleleiki, Galen Kelly and myself; the coming elections;
impacts of global economic collapse; threat of war with Iran and ongoing
war in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.; major future events -- Martin Luther
King Day Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2008 RALLY, Stop the Bombing Action at PTA
Sat. Jan. 31st 2009, follow up on County Council resolution to stop all
live fire and get DU cleaned up at PTA, getting Dr. Pang on a citizens
advisory committee, etc.
Please come, bring a friend, and help pass the word to others. We are in
the midst of an incredibly critical period of time and need everyone's
insight on how to respond.

*IN THE EVENT OF MAJOR CURVE BALLS IN THE COMING WEEKS (I.E.
SUSPENDED/POSTPONED ELECTIONS, OBVIOUS ELECTION TAMPERING, WAR WITH
IRAN, ETC. PLEASE PASS THE WORD TO MEET 12 NOON ON THE DAY OF THE CURVE
BALL EVENT, (OR THE DAY AFTER IF THE EVENT OCCURS IN THE PM) AT THE
BAYFRONT INTERSECTION OF PAUAHI STREET AND KAMEHAMEHA AVE. *
