Your help in geting Dr. Lorrin Pang named as a citizen monitor representative for the upcoming DU testing on Oahu and Hawaii Island would be much appreciated.  See below.

Subject: ALOHA!

Mahalo to all of you who took the time to come to the outdoor circle, last friday, to see lindafaye kroll's play, "ten fingers 10 toes"... and also to hear dr. lorrin pang, from maui.
jay scharf, (you south kona folks may know him) is one of our good friends at the legislature who has put in the request to have dr. pang go with the army when they do testing this month at pohakuloa, makua, and schofield barracks. dr. pang has volunteered to do this under certain conditions. gov. lingle has declined his help and many people statewide, are asking her to reconsider. for those of us who have been involved in the depleted uranium issue in hawaii, dr pang is the only official that we trust completely to find out the extent of contamination, on our training ranges. we need everyone's help. please drop a note or call the governor to ask her to appoint dr. pang to the army DU test group. we also need short letters to the editors of the honolulu newspapers. the more people who do this, the better... so please forward this and tell your friends! (including mainland) many believe this is the ONLY way we will know the truth about DU on our islands. PLEASE do it today, it only takes a minute!
