Cartoon of Bush

"He's out of control!

Restrain Madman

The Bush "surge" is putting more troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now Bush wants more war funding.  This means more killing and destruction all around.  It means more funds that won't go toward meeting human needs: schools, public housing, health care, environmental clean-up, alternative energy, etc.  It's time to say enough!  It's time to end the war and bring the troops home.  It's time for healing – providing proper medical care for veterans and all the victims of war, and for cleaning up and rebuilding that which we have destroyed.  Bush is out of control and it is up to us, by joining together, to restrain him from his madman ways of war.

Join the Hilo "Mothers & Others" Against the War sign-holding and Peace Walk set for Saturday, May 12th 9AM –11AM
